On Sunday, January 7, a team including members from our club joined a Sew-A-Thon in Arden Hills.  Participating were Janice, Arba-Della and her sister Bonnie, Barbara, Paula and her daughter and Margie.  Organized under Day for Girls (www.daysforgirls.org), volunteers at this event made sustainable feminine hygiene kits to be distributed globally where the need is greatest.   The mission of Days for Girls is dedicated to creating a more free, dignified, and educated world, through providing lasting access to feminine hygiene solutions and health education.  Just recently, they surpassed support for over 1,000,000 women and girls.   Thanks for our members and their associates that participated in the valuable service project.
