Our club will support a great project that will use virtual reality technology to provide dementia simulation to support several types of audiences.  Check this Star Tribune article on a somewhat similar initiative: http://strib.mn/2y7AujO

A district grant proposal was prepared by FamilyMeans to purchase virtual reality equipment, pay for staff training time, and staff time to provide 50 hours of dementia simulation to target audiences.  Stillwater Sunrise Rotary will support up to $3,000 of the $8,018 project cost, with district matching and contributions from other local clubs (Stillwater Noon and Lake Elmo) making up the difference.
