Amazing Club Response on World Polio Day
  • Members donated $3,377 last week
  • The club matched, and we sent $8,377 to the Rotary Foundation for Polio Eradication

New Service Project Being Developed - Supporting Homeless and Runaway Teens
  • Initial funding received from Stillwater Sunrise ($2,200), Lake Elmo ($1,000), Stillwater Noon ($1,000), Lakeville ($1,000) and New Brighton/Moundsview ($750)
  • Gary Campbell presented matching funds from District 5960 at the meeting ($4,055)
  • Initial work is to establish project scope and to investigate the needs, identify existing resources for coordination

Paul Harris Awards
  • The club warmly thanked Mark Lambert and Rick Heidick for their ongoing support of the Rotary Foundation
  • Each received a Paul Harris award for an additional $1,000 increment in giving
  • In commenting on his involvement, Mark noted that people support what they have created
  • Rick commented on his involvement, noting the balance of local effort with foundation resources
  • Of our club's 61 members, 55 are Foundation donors, and 45 are Paul Harris Fellows
